FWA was a great con. It always been. It's excellently run (my theory on this is that the staff actually *GASP* listen to the con goers and make efforts to change and try new things!). MFF was a great con, as usual. I still hated hallway-hotel, but thankfully it looks like MFF is going to be a swaaanky con in a new hotel next year. I can't wait! Free airport shuttle, actual lobby / hangout space, and hopefully bigger event rooms! I will be going next year to see the new duds. I believe THIS is the hotel? Correct me if I'm wrong. Yes yes, another AC con report. Thankfully, mine is kinda short.

I actually, well, didn't have an AMAZING time at the con. This was to be expected, to some extent, due to the fact I was Gimp Bacon the whole time. It was a lot of walking (er, crutching) the entire way. And my leg wasn't too happy about that. It was puffy and kinda achey, but I ( Read more... )

Wow. What a con! It was, I think, one of my favorite to date. Scratch that. My ultimate favorite. I had such a good time, I love the weather (shocking, I know!), and I got to hang out with a lot of my closest friends. I spent my soon to be traditional day in the artists alley, and I made a lot of monies which always helps in the con process. ( Read more... )
